What to Pack?
It’s hard to know what’s around the corner, and so it’s difficult to know what you’ll need in your first aid kit. That said, one thing is for sure - if you don’t have one, you will regret it should you need it.
In planning our trip, we needed to balance having the right things should disaster strike, whilst keeping space and weight down in our backpacks. We’re not saying this is the definitive list of what you should have, but this is what we decided on:

- Antihistamine Tablets
- Travel Sickness Tablets
- Imodium
- Diarolyte
- Wound Cleansing Wipes
When creating your own first aid kit, always consider your own medical needs as well and include any prescription medication you know you need.
Depending on the countries you are travelling to, also make sure you have checked entry requirements and depending on the medication you are taking in, you may need to declare this to custom officials prior to arrival.
